The International Retail Academy

A retail consultancy had outgrown its founder-first brand. I rebuilt the website, the brand identity and the social presence so it could speak to the right audience and grow.

The challenge

The founder was the main focus of the business, but the business wanted to scale. The academy had launched three and a half years earlier, and its logo, branding and website had served it well for a while. Now they needed to evolve so the site and social media spoke to the right audience in the right way.

What I did

We started with a deep-dive briefing session with the founder. Then my team and I overhauled the website, with one to two rounds of page-by-page review, and rebuilt the experience so clients could click through and find the service they needed.

We refreshed the brand identity at the same time and documented it in a detailed brand guideline, so every future asset stays consistent. Social media templates brought the new look to the academy’s feeds, and a Calendly link put discovery calls one click away.

“Everything flows so much better and the attention to detail is incredible.”Kayleigh Fazan, founder, The International Retail Academy

The result

In the first week after launch, site sessions rose 75%, most of it organic traffic from new visitors. The new booking link was used right away, and the academy soon took on a new client.
