My story
I’m from Seattle, Washington, and I’ve been fascinated by business for as long as I can remember. I earned a BBA in Creative Business at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands, with an Erasmus semester in Finland studying design and media. As a student ambassador for Beyond the States, I made videos, social content and articles about living abroad.
An internship with Avida International in London turned into nearly four years with the company, including a part-time role as Chief Marketing Officer of its software company, AIIGO.
In 2022 I founded The Next Creative Solution, a creative and brand strategy consultancy for startups and growing businesses in wellness, beauty and lifestyle. I led brand strategy and creative direction from first idea to launch, designed websites built to convert, and created social and content strategies tied to real results. I managed multiple clients on tight budgets and timelines, and hired and managed a small team.
“I take things off the client’s list, so founders can focus on running their business.”
How I work
I believe in educational, credibility-building content that earns trust. I adapt to the brand, the audience and the channel, whether that’s a founder-led startup, a local winery or an international company, and I’m just as comfortable in a spreadsheet as in a design file.
I do my best work as part of a team. I’ve studied in the Netherlands and Finland, worked with colleagues in London and Brussels, and adapted campaigns for different markets and cultures. Working with people who see things differently makes the work better.
To make my creative work even stronger, I’m now in the MS in Marketing Strategy & Analytics program at UT Austin McCombs, learning research design, conjoint analysis, choice modeling, regression, perceptual mapping and pricing optimization.
What’s next
I’m ready to bring a founder’s mindset in-house. I’m looking for a Creative Strategist or Creative Project Manager role at a larger organization, where my mix of strategy, design and analytics can reach more people and be measured at scale.
